Prayer and Outreach Ministries

The Order of the Daughters of the King  St. Martin Episcopal Church has an active chapter of The Order of the Daughters of the King. The Daughters of the King is a community of women who commit to disciplines of prayer and of service.  They share a common goal to grow in their relationship with Jesus and share Him with others.   Members support one another in working toward that goal.  Click here to learn more about The Order of the Daughters of the King.

St. Laurence Chapel Service  We celebrate a Holy Communion Service at St. Laurence Chapel every Wednesday at 11:30 a.m. The Chapel offers ministry to the homeless and destitute. St. Laurence Chapel is a ministry of the Diocese of Southeast Florida. To learn more about it, click here and here.

John Knox Village Holy Communion  Our Rector celebrates Holy Communion Rite One every other month to members of a local retirement residence called John Knox Village. Click here to learn more about John Knox Village.

Outreach Ministries

Broward Children's Center  Father Pecaro is the Chaplain for Broward Children's Center and administers to the pastoral needs of its community. The Center provides a network of care for individuals at all stages of development, from the most technologically-dependent and medically fragile to those with mild developmental delays. Eucharistic Visitors (EV)  Licensed by the bishop, these lay ministers bring Holy Communion to the sick, shut-in, and hospitalized. 

Agapé Cafe  This weekly supper program for the hungry and lonely is prepared and served on Thursdays in the St. Martin Parish Hall by volunteers from St. Martin and from "The Pink Church," formally known as First Presbyterian of Pompano Beach.  Click here to view Gallery pictures of Agape Cafe in action.

Blessing of the Animals  Every year in October we especially celebrate God's creation and invite our community to have their animals blessed in a contemporary worship service.
