Lucille Levy heads up this “warm and fuzzy” ministry. She and her team of knitters and crochet ladies (and gentlemen!!) create shawls that comfort and heal. Each stitch is a prayerful effort to lift up the afflicted and offer the warmth of God’s Love. There have been many success stories that are quite miraculous. Please contact the office if you would like to help or if you know someone who needs a gift of love.
Blessing of the Animals
Every year in October we especially celebrate God’s creation and invite our community to have their animals blessed in a contemporary worship service. This celebration includes a community procession, blessings, contemporary music, a children’s petting zoo, food, and games.
Our Lord gave us a new commandment: that we love one another. He didn’t qualify that statement by saying, “as long as they think and believe as you do.” The great spiritual paths of the world echo this commandment, for at their core, they too are all based on Love; we are all children of One God. Lead by our Interfaith /Healing Minister Darby Line
Eucharistic Visitors (EV) Licensed by the bishop, these lay ministers bring Holy Communion to the sick, shut-in, and hospitalized.
Episcopal Church Women
Our ECW members are very active in providing welcome and service to members of our community, diocese, and parish family. Their hospitality and generosity are an important part of our parish! All women are considered members!
We are proud members and supporters of these civic organizations
